Research opportunities

Indago maintains strong connections with research institutions across the East Coast, and welcomes collaborative efforts across all levels of government and academia.

Ample opportunities exist for a variety of exciting projects. Some areas of interest to us include:

  • Animal behaviour studies of detection dogs and target species
  • Assessing the social and community benefits of deploying conservation dogs
  • Combining detection dog surveys with other non-invasive methods (e.g. eDNA and remote sensing).

We particularly welcome projects with publishing potential, so that novel and best-practice methods in the field of conservation ecology can be applied within relevant legislative frameworks. Please feel free to contact us here.
